We are building a robust translational research pipeline and looking for a detail-orientated and ambitious Research Associate who is passionate about translating preclinical findings to human patients. The successful candidate will work closely with research and data scientists across our therapeutics team accelerating our in vitro and in vivo experimental platforms. The ideal candidate will have prior experience working with rodent models in vivo, in-vitro disease models, in vivo/vitro neural recordings/stimulation, and/or oncology.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute in vitro cell culture experiments.
• Assist with in vivo procedures, including stereotaxic surgeries and chronic device implantation in rodent models.
• Support in vivo electrophysiology and behavioral recordings in rodent models.
• Maintain well-organized and detailed lab records and documentation.
• Contribute to collaborative group efforts across data scientists and engineers on the therapeutics team.
• Independently operate lab equipment and assist in identifying procurement needs.
• Conduct in vitro and in vivo ****drug screening and therapeutic assessment including the use and handling of chemotherapeutics.
• Histological processing, including slicing, staining and analyzing data.
• Rodent handling, administration of substances (tail IV, IP, SC, oral), and conduct in-vivo experiments.
• Documenting and disseminating outcomes to the wider team and community including conference participation and publication preparations.
• Maintain regulatory compliance, ethical approvals (IACUC), and high standards for in-vivo research.

Required Qualifications and Skills

• B.S or M.S in Biology, Molecular Biology, Biochemistry, Neuroscience, or related field.
